How we do our base orders!
WHEN ORDERING, SEND US THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
- We take orders through our Twitter page via the message system!
- List your paypal email for invoicing in the future
- List your full legal mailing name and your full mailing address (WE DO NOT USE PAYPAL ADDRESSES)
- List what you would like to order, for example, "Cut and hinged bovine base, with foam nose, white with pink cast nose, jawset with natural tongue, and 1 1/4 inch blank eye blanks"
- PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS BEFORE WE START PRODUCING YOUR ORDER!!!
- For the time being we take a base order and then only request payment AFTER the base order is done or mostly ready to ship. This also helps us get exact quotes for package ship costs!
OTHER INFO ON HOW ORDERS WORK
- We take between 2 weeks and 3 months to complete base orders depending on life situations
- You may ask for a deadline on your base order and we can try and aim for that!
- I will often clarify some things beforehand with you such as potentially asking for a reference for your project, asking if any cast customizations would work better for your project etc!
- When we finish your order we will send pictures of everything to you to approve colors, etc! If there were issues or imperfections we'll often offer discounts if you would like to take them as is, or we will redo the casts!
- When your order is shipped, we provide tracking numbers for EVERY order! We will wait until it is delivered and give it a few more days in-case there are problems, Then we will delete messages to clean up our messages. This deletes all previous messages with you on our side. Which means, in the future if you would like to order more, we will need all of the above information again for each order! I apologize for this, It's necessary for our organization!
- We like to be hands on with your orders. I want to make sure everything is the right color and all is good with you. This is why I prefer one on one interaction as opposed to a website sale. Then I can make sure your mask is just what you need!
- Sometimes when you inquire, I may know of a base from another maker that would work better for your project than my own and I will often link this to you and you can decide how you want to move forward! I prefer the client has just what they need for their project. I also have a page that is dedicated to linking to many other base artists' websites you can browse before contacting us, here on the website!
SHIP COSTS GUESTIMATE
We ship via USPS primarily, from Washington State, US. the following are some heads ups to ship costs! Consider that east coast US will cost more than the west coast states to ship, Due to us originating on the westernmost west coast of the US.
- Ground ship roughly runs from $8-$30 within the US
- Priority ship roughly runs from $10-$80 within the US depending on weight!
- Base international (3-8 weeks roughly not including customs time) can be around $20-$80
- Priority international (1-4 weeks roughly not including customs time ) can be around $40-$150
- any faster can be pretty huge prices depending. but we can always look into it when the time comes! I prefer mailing priority mail as it's treated a little better than ground. But it's up to you in the end, and all levels come with tracking numbers! All US packages are insured.
CANCELLATIONS OR ISSUES
- We realize that payment after completion can put you in a spot where you do not have the funds to pay when the item is done. and need more time to recoup the funds. This is totally understandable and we can set up payments or set a date when is best for you to pay , and we can get your order to you.
- If you need to cancel because you have gotten suddenly financially strapped and absolutely cannot go through with your order, Please just let us know clearly and absolutely as soon as possible! Just be honest. This will save us time if we are working on your project. The further along we get the more frustrating it is to have to cancel and resell. We understand that emergencies happen.
- ASK ABOUT CONCERNS BEFORE WE START WORK. For example if you are concerned about sizing issues please ask AT THE SAME TIME OR BEFORE putting in an order. If you cancel after we've already finished due to an issue that could have been cleared before starting work you will be blacklisted.
- Similarly to the above statement, Please be honest if there's a problem. Clear answers are important. If you need to cancel please make that clear. I can't be decoding passive messages. If you do not tell me you wish to cancel I don't know you wish to cancel!!! Communicate what you need.
